We are overcast, no wind to speak of and temperature is in the mid 70's......finally a day to enjoy. Mad a visit to the office this morning to make sure everything was in order and then took a brief walk around. Later I saw Chip working on my neighbors unit and mentioned that I would like to have my leveling jacks serviced, 10 minutes later he stopped by and he and Jack were under Mel wiping down the shafts and applying silicone. Total charge = $0.00. Just another reason why I think so highly of Chip Baker.
We have slipped into the weekend mode although I did empty the holding tanks this morning and then brought down the flagpole light. After that I brought down the weather station head and put fresh batteries in the unit. This is all in anticipation of a grocery run to Wally World first of the week.
As you know with all this activity this afternoon will require a siesta while I'm busy enjoying the good life.
While you are enjoying the good life you need to pull up today's HCP. There's a picture of some pretty funny looking boys from McCooey....well, maybe it isn't funny looking boys...it's just a pretty funny looking pic of some boys from McCooey....whichever way you want to look at it. Just saw two of them last Thurs. and they don't look like that now! lol
ReplyDeleteI looked, but didn't see any picture that you might be referring to.
DeleteFinally, some spring weather. Bet you were getting tired of fall... ;c)
ReplyDeleteI was getting tired of winter. Coldest temperatures I've seen in the last year right here last week.
DeleteNo ball games on a Saturday??
ReplyDeleteCardinals are on big Fox. I get an east and west coast feed on DirectTV and my stations are carrying other games. I'll have to wait until Sunday when they are back on Fox Sports Midwest.
DeleteSooooo glad your weather is FINALLY turning for the better.
ReplyDeleteMe too, hope yours is better too, but with all the work you've got lined up for Paul he can't go out and play anyway.
DeleteJohn, it was in Days Gone By...Danny Meade, senior Roy Hark junior, Tom Frier soph. and Buzz Ballinger senior. It was contributed so maybe someone will put it on McCooey page.
ReplyDeleteI know the picture. Bunch of formerly skinny boys.
DeleteWell sounds like your getting ready to hit the road. But you much rest of first after all that work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for understanding my need for rest.
DeleteMight as well do a little at a time instead of over working yourself and needing two naps. Definitely time to start getting those wheels moving again.
ReplyDeleteOne just has to pace oneself.
