The parts wait continues, but will probably end in the next couple of days and we can get the slide topper fixed. I found out yesterday that I have another reason to wait as my license plate tabs have arrived in my mail box in south Dakota and I had them sent here to Elephant Butte. They should arrive tomorrow or Thursday.
On a positive note the weather around here has settled down, at least the wind has. The flag has been up for three days in a row which is a new record for around here.
Tomorrow is travel day for fellow blogger Ed Frey as he sets out for his next destination. It is always enjoyable meeting fellow travelers and Ed was no exception.
This morning we have done a little visiting as we checked the parks perimeter. Clay is doing his thing down in the valley and Loren and Marilyn have purchased a house here in town and are preparing for the big move back to a stick and bricks. Everything in the office was calm, so I was able to pronounce the park all secure.
Again today there is nothing on the agenda, this leaves plenty of time for enjoying the good life.
What are they going to do around there when you leave? Who is going to be the security guard?
ReplyDeleteSomebody will just have to step up like they did in Mission when I left there.
DeleteMakes you wonder how the RV manufactures ever get enough parts to build any RVs.
ReplyDeleteManufactures might be higher in the food chain than little ole me.
DeleteNothing on the agenda. Humm, that sounds good to me. We are polishing and waxing the motorhome. Glad the weather is treating you better.
ReplyDeleteWeather has been good, what you're doing, polishing and waxing, really sounds like work.
DeleteDo you suppose a security camera could take your place, John?
ReplyDeleteNot as friendly, Russ.
DeleteWhile happy your weather is so wonderful I feel you sent the wind back to us. The temps are good the not so much.
ReplyDeleteI was just getting ready to blame you, we picked up a 30 mph wind this afternoon. Guess I shouldn't have opened my mouth.
