Dreaded laundry
Well it caught up with me again today, the dreaded laundry day. I managed to get in and out of the washateria without interruption and the sadistic form of punishment is out of the way for a couple of weeks.
Yesterday, as expected, my new TV arrived in the hands of FedEx. Of course, it was immediately necessary to take it for a test drive to learn if it was going to serve my needs. I can report that it works well. With the short antenna I was able to capture 7 TV stations and two of them were actually in English.
The box.
What was in the box.
This TV will run on AC or DC or its own internal battery. It will also work in conjunction with my Direct TV, so I will be able to watch the Cardinals wherever I go this summer. The conversion of PaT to a mini RV is proceeding on schedule and I'm figuring on a departure date of around April 1st, a good day for a fool to be on the road.
With the laundry finished I am now in a position to relax the rest of the day and enjoy the good life.
I'm thinking you may be punished more than once before you leave. ;)
ReplyDeleteThere's a real possibility.
DeleteI don't currently have a TV and was thinking of getting one of those, will wait for reports to see how yours works on the road.
ReplyDeleteGood picture quality and at $60.00 it's hard to beat.
DeleteWe caught up laundry too last night. A necessary evil or else go with dirty clothes... or NO clothes???
ReplyDeleteLike that little TV. Sure is cute!

I'm pretty sure I don't want to stay at 55+ clothing optional parks. Makes me shudder to even think of the possibility.
DeleteIf you go Commando, you can cut down on the amount of laundry...
ReplyDeleteNot likely.
Deletedepends are sure going to make traveling in the car easier...
ReplyDeleteNot likely.
DeleteThat is the cutest little TV. Looks like it do the trick while you are on the road.
ReplyDeleteAgain, we differ. We are, at least I am, a HUGE Indians fan. Glad they are in different leagues.
Choice, that's what makes America great.
DeleteHow funny! We just bought a TV exactly like that at the Penney Outlet in Tempe. Actually we have another one exactly like that with a different name on it. When boondocking we connect them to our satellite instead of the larger TV.
ReplyDeleteMore proof that great minds think alike.
DeleteOh you got the little TV! How long is the battery life on it? I have a different brand, mine has a 2 hour battery. I bought another antenna for mine, so I can either use the small one or a bigger one, which is more like the old rabbit ears type. I got it because it didn't need to be plugged into power & if I can't get a station on the small antenna, then the bigger one works a little better for that. I keep it all in a small carry bag, tv is packed in that in one of those mini laptop cases. It comes in handy when boondocking!
ReplyDeleteI plan to use this in the car this summer. Battery life is 2 to 2.5 hours, but I plan to use it with the car lighter socket. I will also be taking a dish and running Direct TV so I won't need to worry about antenna use.
DeleteThat is so cute! I know you will enjoy that very much. Can't be missing those games
ReplyDeleteThat's a take anywhere TV.
DeleteLol, we are on the same laundry schedule :D
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat looking TV and you can't beat the price with a stick!
I'm sorry either of us are on a laundry schedule.
