New activity

Today there was some excitement in the park as all the sidewalk superintendents gathered to watch the construction crew move massive amounts of fill dirt into the park to repair the drainage problems they created with the building of the new highway through town.  Apparently drainage wasn't considered in the original plans and rains were causing some flooding problems along the length of the new construction. Todays activities should remedy the problem, at least in the park.

Tons of dirt are dropped in place as a grader works to level the ground.

With all this activity it was a good opportunity to meet some more of the folks who had gathered to supervise the project. The ways of enjoying the good life are never ending.
