Barney (The Old Fat Man Adventures blogger) arrived at my site about 11 am and we spent the afternoon checking out the local area. The highlight of the day was a stop at Whataburger (Whataburger is a local hamburger chain founded in 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas) for a massive calorie infusion. We drove the area and checked out a few of the local attractions. We also had time for a nice visit. It's always nice to compare notes with fellow full-timers.
This morning we have cloud cover and it looks like the skies are trying to decide whether or not to let go of some moisture. Until it clears a bit, staying close to shelter will be a priority. The temperature is back up into the 70's so hopefully winter is over for south Texas.
Watching the world go by will be today's activity while enjoying the good life.
Well, What-a-burger was started in Texas but I've enjoyed their burgers here in Florida for a good while. Really enjoy reading your updates and OFM too.
