The drama continues here in the park. Yesterday two of the homeowners spent an hour with management trying to resolve the sewer problem to no avail. On leaving the office one of the homeowners mentioned that he felt he would have to get the health department involved to get some action. Managements repy, "that's a good idea". No one is quite sure how getting the health department involved would be an idea the management would endorse, but taking management at it's word the health department was contacted and the health department upped the ante and contacted the EPA. The EPA seems to take sewerage spills pretty seriously because they showed up yesterday afternoon and inspected the problem. We are now waiting to see what action will be taken. It just keeps on getting better.
This morning I have been working with Sal to get his motorhome listed for sale on the web. He has chosen a couple of sites to list on and we are setting up the ads. He and Shelly have decided a 5th wheel more fits their needs, thus the effort to part with their really nice Country Coach motorhome.
The wind has kicked up this morning and all BB stacking has been canceled for the afternoon, but we will still fin a way to enjoy the good life.
I imagine that the EPA can get involved since a sewerage spill at Falcon Lake can contaminate the drinking water in two countries.
ReplyDeleteRight Barney, but I think it's the Texas EPA not the feds that are involved.
