Pancake day

This morning was pancake breakfast day in the park. This occurs once a month and many people look forward to Chef John's culinary efforts, I am not one of those as I never acquired a taste for the little devils. The attendance was good and many people got their fill. I dropped over just to visit so the opportunity wasn't missed.

People managing to carry on conversations while feeding their faces.

The main topic of conversation when people gather seems to be the unexplainable changes that have been instituted by the new management here at the park. The current topic of interest seems to be the strange hours, at least for an RV park, that the office is open. Currently the office is running Monday through Friday from 9 to 4 and the park office is closed weekends. This holds true unless management has something else to do in which case the office might be closed during the week, as it was yesterday.

I would think this has to hurt business when there is no one available to greet and check in guests. People in the park have noticed several missed opportunities for business as prospective guest have turned around and left when they weren't able to find anyone to register them. Very strange.

Today's temperature is already at 72 degrees, so it looks like this will be a good day for visiting and enjoying the good life.
