Big drop

After a 90 degree day yesterday the best we can hope for today is the mid 60's and the overnight low tonight is supposed to be 32 degrees so in a day and a half we will have seen a sixty degree swing in temperature. I sure hope this blast from the arctic doesn't hang around long. We are going to have to have a word with the new arrivals and let them know they are to leave this weather in the north and not bring it with them.

Yesterdays dinner went off without a hitch and everyone left the hall saying never again will I eat that much, which is a sure sign of a successful feed and a promise that, no doubt, will not be kept.

18' feet of desserts to temp every one's taste buds.

45' feet of entrees and sides. They just don't make plates big enough to handle all the choices.

The view from my serving station right behind the roaster filled with turkey. We put a pretty good dent in the supplies at noon and what was left was disposed of at the five o'clock sitting.

Today is recovery day. I did go down to Jim's to help with a computer problem this morning and the rest of the day will be devoted to massive amounts of doing nothing. Just my way of enjoying the good life.
