Another hot day
We ended the day yesterday with a beautiful sunset however the colors in the sky were the result of moisture in the air and overnight the humidity rose to 85%. This coupled with a low of 75 made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. It didn't matter though, I was up a good part of the night downloading fixes for Windows 7. How shocked would we be if Bill Gates released a copy of Windows that was ready to go out of the box.
We have a new addition to the park. Gary and Pat have installed a canine rest area at their place. I think Gary was getting tired of blowing tires on his pickup. He's hoping for wide acceptance by the pooches of the park.
This mornings project was finding a location for my new first alert weather radio. I consider a weather radio in an RV a mandatory item. A location next to the bed was decided on and the radio was properly mounted. The only problem in Zapata is that the county is so sparsely settled we don't have a NOAA weather station in the area. The closest is Laredo which is 50 miles away and we on on the fringe of the reception area. I'm sure though the radio will get plenty of exercise when I return to the Midwest next summer.
We are expecting another 95 degree day so my plan is to absorb as much air conditioning as I can while enjoying the good life.
