There is a lot of the same thing going on here. There is not much you can do with the temperatures we have enjoyed the last few days, unless you relish heat strokes. Right now it's 97 degrees which is the same as it was a midnight last night. Today we are having a cooling off day and it's only supposed to be 111. I did check the weather at Williams, where I will be Tuesday night, and the overnight low was 55 and the high today is expected to be 85. What a difference 150 miles makes. Made the 6,000 foot difference in elevation is the difference. Any way, I've come to the conclusion that in the future Lake Havasu City will be avoided from late spring to early fall.
I also found that Williams has the distinction of being the last town to have it's section of Route 66 closed. I, looking forward to exploring the town and getting some cooler temperatures. Until then it will be using up more air conditioning while trying to enjoy the good life.
