More wind

Once again the wind has reared up an is trying to blow us about. So far all that is blowing around is a lot of dust, but according to the weather service it is going to get a lot worse this afternoon. A look at Mel's weather station show that so far we have winds to 29 mph, but the prediction for this afternoon is 50+ mph winds. This is not making a lot of friends with the boaters who travel here for the weekend.

A look at Mel's weather station shows we have already reached 29.3 mph winds so this afternoon looks like we will be throwing out the anchor. After today things are supposed to settle down and warm up with triple digit temperatures predicted on Tuesday. 

I did talk to Roger this morning and the news wasn't very positive. Brenda's cancer has been confirmed and it's in the lungs and spine. She is currently undergoing radiation, but the prognosis is not positive.

The rest of the day will be spent trying not to get blown away and enjoying the good life from inside Mel.
