This morning we pulled the plug and headed to Wal-Mart for a restocking of the cupboards. The wind is still blowing around here, but we couldn't wait any longer, we were down to one can of Dr. Pepper. A real emergency. I was lucky enough to have arrived at Wal-Mart while the morning pep rally was in progress, so I was inspired for my shopping expedition. On the way back we stopped and filled the propane and gas tanks. So everything is a go for when we decide to head north.
As I said the wind is still blowing and even the clerk at the service station commented on how tired she was of it. I'm sure it will effect their weekend business if it's too windy for the boaters to go out. We'll see later today when the weekend warriors start to arrive. Right now it is pretty choppy out on the river.
The rest of the day will be spent relaxing, putting away the groceries and waiting for the Cardinal game later this evening. It's just another part of living the good life.
