Sun pending

We started off the day overcast and are waiting for the sun to make an appearance. Heading for 88 degrees once old Sol arrives. 

This was yesterdays major event, the replacing of Joe's windshield and it attracted a lot attention for the two hours involved. It has always been known that if you need company around here you just raise the hood or start working on a vehicle a people will come from miles around to investigate and offer advice.

During the walk around the park today a search was made for blooming plants. Things are still in the recovery mode from the January hard freeze, but a few signs of life were found.

This tree was making an attempt at blooming.

I think these can bloom anywhere.

The really amazing thing was the cactus. Look at all the blooms ready to burst forth. I assume this is because of all the rain we have had. It should be a sight when the buds open.

Today's activities will include whatever I find enough ambition to do, this still remains to be seen, but we know whatever it is it will be in pursuit of enjoying the good life.
