After an 81 degree day yesterday winter has returned. Right now it's 45 degrees and it's been raining since about 6 am this morning. Throw in a 30 mph wind from the north and it makes for an unpleasant day. The propane man was by this morning and he was smiling from ear to ear. It seems he is the only person in Zapata who likes this weather.
Tonight is the annual 4 Seasons brisket dinner so there will be an opportunity to socializes later this evening. Until then it will be another inside day enjoying the warmth of Mel's furnace.
Another project I'll be working on today is finding and installing new money management software. I have used Microsoft Money for years, but they discontinued it and today I received a pop up notice that it would no longer be supported. I've been putting off the switch to something new for awhile, but maybe today is the day to take action. I'm not sure this project will be the way to enjoy the good life, but when it's done I can get back to doing just that.
