One more to go.

Chip Baker and Jack showed up this morning with my bedroom slide topper, 45 minutes later it was installed and tested. One more problem solved.

Installation under way.

Now all we are waiting for is the license plate tabs from South Dakota and they should arrive today or tomorrow. Once installed a decision will be made on  a direction of travel and off we go.

Ed Frey departed this morning at first light and is on his way to Albuquerque and points north. Happy trails Ed.

I spoke too quickly yesterday in praising the weather. We have a special weather advisory in effect that promises 40 to 50 mile per hour winds and a drop of 30+ degree in temperature. I guess the flag will have to come down this afternoon.

Cardinals ball at noon and enjoying the good life for the rest of the day is the plan.

  1. That's some big wind. Don't forget to pull in the slides (as if!).

  2. Stay off the roads with those winds. Those are definitely pretty strong winds. Heck .. we don't like to be on the road with winds half of that.

    1. I'm good here until the 12th, no need to be in any hurry.

  3. Nice to have that awning fixed. And once you get your tags and the wind goes away you can get back on the road. Can't wait to hear where too.

  4. I'd kind of like to hit northern NM eventually. You can go scout it out for me! ;-)
