Tornados

Last night about 8:30 the skies darkened and the sirens in town started sounding. I buttoned up Mel and headed for the Wal-Mart store. I figured the store was safer than the motorhome. It got very dark and a big thunderhead built just to the east of us. There were reports of tornados on the ground 4 miles to the east of us. Luckily nothing developed where I was. Later, about 1 am another front blew through with rain, lightning and wind, but nothing we couldn't handle. I knew it was bad last night when Wal-Mart actually shut down the registers and stopped selling merchandise. This morning skies are clear with more thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon.
