North Platte, NE

I have moved and am now in North Platte Nebraska. Tomorrow I plan to see if Buffalo Bill is at home. His Ranch is located in North Platte and it's named the Scouts Rest. I am also going to check out the Union Pacific Bailey Yard. This is a 'hump' yard where railroad cars are run over a hill and through gravity and a series of switches are moved to make up a train. The Bailey Yard handles 10,000 cars a day and covers the equivalent of 2,800 football fields. It should be something to see.
