I sure am glad I came north to avoid the heat. Currently it is 99 degrees in Zapata and it's only 92 here. Yesterday it was 97. Mel's air conditioner is working overtime trying to keep us cool. I did get out and take a few pictures of the area, Al's Oasis has a food store, bank, gift shop and cafe and it is part of the complex here. They also have a motel on the other side of the property.
